Federation Dinner and Tim Fischer Oration - January 26th

January 26th will see the third Federation Dinner and Tim Fischer Oration, this year's speaker in Corowa boy Major General Shane Caughey, AM DSC.

 

The dinner start at 6:30pm at the Oddfellows Hall 231 Sanger Street.  

 

Tickets are $45 each, for a three course meal and drinks are available at the bar which will be sett up on the night.  Tickets can be bought from Marshall Batteries, 10 Bow Street Corowa, 02 6033 1689

Federation Market - Bangerang Park - January 27th & 28th

Commencing at 4:00pm on Saturday January 27th, in Bangerang Park, the Federation Festival Market starts and runs through until 9:30pm, when there will be a fireworks display.

 

Next morning at 8:30am the market starts again and runs though until about 2:00pm.

 

At 9:30 am on the Sunday of the market there will be an ecumenical service held on the Bangerang Park mound

BnS Ball - January 27th

Starting at 2:00pm on the day stage will be Keg, warming the crowd up for the night to come.

 

The evening will see the Iain Archibald Band, Gary Eastwood and the Silverstring Outlaws.

 

Tickets are $120 if booked and paid for by January 25, or $130 at the gate. Ticket prices include, evening meal, drinks and breakfast.

Federation Parade - January 28th

Commencing at 11:00am the Federation Parade is the final event of the weekend, where local businesses, club, groups and band enter floats, or march down Sanger Street to celebrate Corowa's place in Federation.

 

Each year we have a them to the parade and this year's theme is "Multiculturalism" and we will be celebrating the contribution to our country of the indigenous and migrant communities.

This year the Rotary Club in conjunction with Federation Council will be running the Australia Day Celebrations at Ball Park Corowa from 10:00am Friday January 26th.
